This is high grade Ceremonial Cacao from Peru, grown following the agroforestry methods to maintain sustainability and replenish the forest. Our Cacao comes from the farming collectives in the high Amazonian forests.

This raw organic Ceremonial Cacao is ground from beans to a paste - hence labelled a Cacao liquor.

This is a high functioning superfood; packed full of nutrients and antioxidants. And we make sure it stays that way; all of our cacao products are raw, retaining far more nutrients and goodness than beans that have been roasted, or alkalised using the Dutch process.

Our cacao comes from cooperatives of small land holders and families who ferment and dry the cacao on site then sell it to cooperatives who we get it from. Peruvians use an agroforestry system which promotes biodiversity, meaning where our Cacao grows there are other trees around which is much better for biodiversity of insects and animals in the area and for preservation of the rainforest in general.

Suggested uses

A Ceremonial does is between 25-42.5g depending on your sensitivity, preference and usage.
Keep pure and make with just water (hot, not boiling) or non dairy milk ( cow milk now advised).

Cacao liquor is 100% pure chocolate, so this product is naturally bitter - you may like to add a sweetener such as agave, honey, coconut sugar or lucuma to balance the flavour.
